MARIE BROCKMANN is a German film editor. Before successfully completing her studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in April 2024 with a degree in film editing, she had first obtained a degree in video editing as well as her Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro certificate at the Bayerische Akademie für Fernsehen und Digitale Medien e.V. in 2017 and worked in various areas of film and media production, which allowed her to gain a wide range of experience. As a junior video editor and production assistant, she worked in the advertising film industry and was involved in projects for companies such as MINI, BMW and Webasto before working as a junior news editor at Sky Sport News HD for almost two years. During her subsequent studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, she further developed and deepened her skills. In parallel, she has been working as a freelance editor since 2020 and has gained extensive experience in various areas, including short film, documentary, advertising, product and image film, reports, social media content and trailers. In 2023, Marie became a scholarship holder of the Deutschlandstipendium, which recognizes her outstanding achievements and commitment.
With her versatile experience, technical know-how and passion for creative work, she is looking forward to new challenges and great projects in the film and media industry.
